Information Organizer software installation package consists of the following components:
This software has an evaluation period of 14 days. You need to purchase and register your Organizer to use it after the evaluation period.
- Information Organizer Core software
- Information Organizer Users' Guide
- Java Runtime Environment (JRE) software and extension libraries
System Requirements
The system requirements for installing Information Organizer software are as follows.
- Memory of 64 MB or more and a processor comparable to Intel Pentium III, 300 MHZ or more are recommended.
- If Information Organizer is used mainly for textual items (not digital photos), systems with memory smaller than 64 MB and slower processors can be used.
- If you are planning to organize digital photos and would like to see multiple photos at once, larger amounts of memory (128 MB or more) and faster processors are highly recommended. The larger the photo resolutions (in terms of the number of pixels), the more memory is better.
- For sharing your information directly from your organizer, a cable modem or a DSL connection is recommended.
- For using the audio features of the programs, the computer system should be equipped with an audio system and audio player software should be available.
- A screen resolution at least 800 by 600 pixels is required.
- Installation of all the software components and JRE requires about 35 MB of disk space.
- On some Windows operating systems (95,98, ME), the memory for Initial Environment for MS-DOS windows (C:\ window) should be set to 4096. This can be set as follows. Click with right mouse button on the window frame of a C:\ window and select properties. Then select the memory tab. Change the number for Initial Environment to 4096. If it is not set, you may see an out of memory error message in the C:\ window while starting the program and the program will not start. Please look at this Microsoft support page if you need more information on this problem.
